School is In!

Say hello to our new students on opening week at Stand Tall Training Center. Thanks goes to everyone who has supported the realization of STAND TALL TRAINING CENTER (STTC). Together, we have created a beautiful school with great potential for the future. Special thanks to our Ugandan team who has worked tirelessly to get the school off the ground in record time.

1st Parent/Teacher Meeting

Together we will succeed. Stand Tall everyone; I hear the opening bell ringing.

Powerful Art Exhibit

A photographic artist, Jasna Stojanovic, and a couple of hundred people she recruited are spreading powerful words through a unique art installation. Love is a Many Splendoured Thing opens in downtown Vancouver in June with a message that aims to counter negativity, hatred and fear in today’s world. Opening night is free; proceeds from the cash bar go to benefit Stand Tall Education and the BC Cultural Society for the Deaf.

Thursday, June 3  -  7 to 9 pm  -  HSBC Pendulum Gallery  -  Georgia at Howe  -  free

Thank you Celtic Traditions

Lynn and Michael Pratt from Celtic Traditions in Vancouver hosted a benefit student concert at their studio/shop for Stand Tall Education which was a huge success. The performers ranged from 7-70 and played fiddles, violins, harp, guitar and sang. Truly a beautiful night with lots of heart.
